The East Coast Beach Trip

August 1, we left our house in Fort Collins, Colorado to make the DRIVE to North Carolina beaches. We went out there to attend the Freeman Family Reunion that they hold every year. We drove Friday and Saturday all day long. It was a long drive, but it went really well! Eric, Jason’s brother lives in Denver and he went out with us. He was a huge help with the kids! I was grateful to not have to sit in the back of the van the whole time to help the kids. 

We also took some family pictures, but Jason downloaded them and I don't know where they are so stay tuned :)

Daniel’s favorite thing was the water. He loved to jump over the waves, and go out really far with dad.  He enjoyed trying to swim in the water, and he loved when the waves would push him over.  He also had a great time playing with his cousins.  They had some fun games going on the whole time we were there.

Ladies night out.  We all got to leave and let the men take care of the kids.  I have fun with all of my in-laws. We had a good time talking and laughing and enjoying the time together. 

Daniel and Joshua had a great time playing with Gabriel, Peter, and Rigby.  I am so glad that they had time to play with everyone. They got a long really well, and enjoyed playing together. 

Luke was an amazing little baby. He made every one smile because he was the happy kid.  Everyone loved to hold him because he was always so happy to be with.  He did really well playing in the water, sitting in the stroller, and adapting to a flexible schedule.  I am so glad that he did well because it made my week go a lot better!

Joshua’s favorite thing was the sand.  He loved to dig, run, and find shells.  He enjoyed the water too.  He liked to go out far with Jason.  He loved spending a lot of time with his dad. They have a special connection.

Jason playing video games with his brothers (all except Stephen), he had to leave early. they had SO much fun playing games together. I am grateful that Jason is friends with all of his brothers.
