Estes Park

Today we decided to go on an adventure. We drove to Estes Park, Colorado which is right by Rocky Mountain National Park. It is about an a hour from our house. We drove out there this morning, and luckily Daniel slept in the car. We stopped at the visitors Center to figure out what we wanted to do.
They gave us a few Ideas and we decided to go on a walk around a lake, about 15 minutes away. Now in Estes Park (the town) There wasn't any snow on the ground, but the road to the lake started to get snow, and then the lake was totally frozen with snow and snow drifts covering all paths.
We were able to find the path and walk around the lake and even stop for a few minutes to eat a sandwich. We were all really warm, but the wind made it a bit cold. We probably walked only a mile, but we were ready to get back in the warm car when it was over! It was nice to get out and have some fun, and put that jogger stroller to some good use in the snow!
