Joshua

Joshua has really grown up the last few weeks. He has learned how to get what he wants. He will bring me a book and “ask” for me to read it to him. He will also bring other things like toys if he needs help with them. He has also found his sippy cup and brought it to me asking for a drink. It is pretty cute to see him figure things out.

He knows what prayer time is, and he will fold his arms all on his own. He has also learned where his head is, and if we ask him to show us where his head is, then he puts both hands up on his head. Joshua has also learned where we throw diapers away, and if I ask him to throw it away, he will walk over to the bag and try to put it in.

Joshua loves to clap for himself when he does something right, especially when he puts the shapes in the shape sorter. He is becoming much better at putting the shapes in the right spots, and it is fun to see him figure it out and then clap for himself.

Joshua recently learned how to wave. Every morning when daddy leaves for work he waves good bye as he walks out the door. After Jason leaves, Joshua then wants to go up to the window so we can wave as Daddy drives away. Both Daniel and Joshua LOVE to wave good bye as Jason leaves for work that day.
Joshua's hair is getting long, and when you get a little food in it, it will stick up REALLY well!

Joshua loves to go in their room and play with toys, pull things off of the shelf, and look at books.  I will often find him in there just playing on his own and exploring.

Another stick up hair picture.

This is Daniel reading a book to Joshua. I had to give Josh a book so that he would sit there long enough for the picture, but Daniel was really excited to read to Joshua.
